Our District's DECA Students Soar at Statewide Competition
At the DECA Competition, our students made the entire POB District proud. We would like to congratulate the five seniors who were elected as New York State DECA Honor Society Members: Derek Ash, Jeremy Frierman, Jeffery Plotkin, Lisa Rosenstein, and Reid Zank. Thanks to the hard work of seniors Josh Schwartz, Jared Rochlen and Jake Rockower, the POBJFKHS “Hawk’s Nest” School Store received “Gold Star Status” by the International DECA organization for the 4th year in a row! And due to the dedication of club historian Kimberly Sieloff, POB DECA was awarded the New York DECA Media Award.
DECA is an international association of high school and college students that prepares them for careers and education in marketing, entrepreneurship, finance and other business fields.
Congratulations to our POB DECA team!
